With only 3 days to go before nominations close for 2 positions on the board of KA members received notification of the AGM.  To be held on MONDAY the 30 May 2016 at a venue to TBA?????  What if you wanted to just be an observer at that meeting?

Will there be a phone hook up with 'just a couple of voting issues'?  Who would know as has anyone seen an agenda yet?  Have the States advise any of its members?   The process of informing them wasn't carried out under the A1 process.

How does anyone submit a nomination form for either of the two positions up for election given the short space of time to do so?  We desperately need people at the top who know and understand the world of karting.  People who have an understanding of the mechanisms that make the thing work, and work properly.

CLG has been a complete and utter failure with more cloak and dagger than a Boris Battenov cartoon.

All I see and hear are the majority of karters whingeing and bitching about how bad things are, yet when it comes to the crunch, they may as well be standing naked in the artic.  The karting fraternity needs to stand up for itself.

I have seen an article from KA stating they will be advertising the position soon as a casual vacancy.

Advertise???????????????????

What so we can go through some other innocuous process so another of their mates can get a gig?

They are just playing everyone off a break, particualrly those who head up our state associations.

That seems to be it in a nutshell.

. Expressions of interest will open soon for the position of Competition Director that will be filled as a casual vacancy.

Any vacancy on that board is a very casual vacancy Di.Thanks for all your help and support with this rabble.

 Interesting read:

Good governance of the various sporting bodies ultimately comes down to having boards comprising those who intimately know and love the sport they’re lending their services to sitting side-by-side with those with the diversity of skills required to make sure the boards of these sports get the fundamentals right.

And writing stuff on here will do nothing, get active and actually do something like leave the KA and stop paying them money. You have been whinging for years and done zip Neville as others have done and continue to do. Tell KA to shove their affiliation and get other clubs to do the same. No clubs affiliated = no KA. QED.

Chris fairly presumptive for you to say 'done zip'.   Why do you think they banned me, for being proactive. Biggest hurdle are those that have been sucked in by all this and still believe KA are doing a great job.  Very few but are the ones creating barriers.
