Whos up for banning senior J s at State and National level? Im sick of going to a major meeting waiting for senior j's to finish wobbling round the track at a slower pace than i ride my ride-on mower, and watching them do the double fist #1 air punch when they are done boring us all. Seriously guys, its all good to start out in j's and if thats all you can afford then great, but when it comes to state and nationals, get off our race track and let us get to the pub early for a change.

yea I'll back you on that.

Defeats the purpose of "cheap" racing if you take it all the way to National titles.

Senior J's should be made to run with clubman and if they gettin whooped that's just too bad, your a senior now !

Everyone can't be a winner all the time.
Amen AG...
J stands for Juniors!
You have my vote AG
count me in who's shout is it
Yep!

Keep them to Club level and Open meets only.
do you really find snr j boring at state and national level. adam did you go to natioanls or qld states this year mate snr js had some insane races. just cause they do so lap times dosent mean its not good to watch

I'm sorry, but who died & made you guys kings???

As far as I am concerned, it takes a lot of skill to race at the front of a J field. Even more than the high powered classes. Nothing worse than seeing a new comer think he is so great because he has the power of a Tag.

Ohh Ohh look at me, I am fast in a straight line. The best race craft I have seen is in J racing. Hands down.

If you want to see boring racing, go watch the CIK class. The first 10 laps are great, then it becomes a precession. 10 odd kart lengths between each kart at the end of the finals. And that is supposed to be the best in OZ? Right.
I'd have to disagree. I have driven everything from a Comer to a DD2, and it takes far more skill to get a Rotax or Leopard around a track than a J. They are a good class for grass roots level, as it teaches great racing lines, and race craft, but do they really need a position at State and National Titles?

i agree Bret, great for beginning and juniors, but thats as far as they should go...not only are they fast in a straight line Troy, they are fast everywhere...and not boring.
