Kartbook

Australian Karting Forum

Well it's that time again!
This year we will be giving National plates for Master class winners that can be used in any Master class races Australia wide, in the same class of course...
The track is looking great.
Many hours and considerable resources have been spent in replacing all wood chip with gravel traps, upgrading the track drainage and a new shed over our roll on roll off scales, amongst other smaller tweaks too numerous to mention.
With a round of the Rotax Pro Tour following the week immediately after some may wish to prolong the fast and furious fun for another week... The more race fit anyway....
Camping is available, the canteen serving up good tucker..
We hope to see all you 'Old bastards' who've still got it in you for this celebration of karting!
Soooo..
Are you coming?

I'll be there from Warrnambool in Vic. TAG Restricted Medium.
I've heard such good things (mainly on here from you Carl) so have great expectations of a fun event.
Will give you a call soon to get the low down on Camping and Pit spots etc.
Cheers Barry.
Thanks for that Barry, looking forward to seeing you.
See you there .sportsman
regards bill

What weight and tyres  for open masters, cheers

Hello Rudy,
I assume you mean TAG 125 Masters..
So the tyres will be MG Yellows and MG Whites as wets.
The weights are the same as for TAG 125 Heavy except there is no maximum kart weight...
So if you were to bring an Evo Rotax your min weight would be 185kg.
I'm hoping this means I will finally get to follow you around the track..
Of course Troy Brown will be in this class hmmmm.
Ha ha carl thanks .will have to see as we have pro tour followin weekend only so much kartin funds in pot

The 3 old farts from Cairns will be down again Carl

Have you pre-entered yet Nic?

Hi Carl

I think only one of them has prenominated so far. Ill remind them to get thier buts into gear

Only another 11 years till I can race the O40's. Unfortunately I can't make it down as pit crew/beer tester this year tho. This meeting is a blast even if your not old enough to race
