Don't feed the troll. Every time you respond to this guy, he will respond twice. The solution is quite simple - don't respond to him for any reason, ever.

Well! If that isn't the pot calling the kettle black I don't know what is!! You come on here and fire all kinds of accusations at all kinds of people, with nary a skerrick of evidence to back it up. You tell me to "just get rid of him", but why should I? What inalienable right to free speech do you have that he doesn't? If I wanted to look after my own back yard, I'd be better off to get rid of you! It'd certainly reduce the amount of time I have to spend on the phone explaining to people that you might be a nutter, but you're still allowed to voice your opinion.
After the start you had on kartbook - matched only by Mal Crosher in its disrespect for me or the site that I had built - you're the last person who should be advising me to "just get rid" of people.
You feel you have to defend yourself against the claims this guy makes, but how does Galvo feel? He's had, so far as I can see, absolutely NOTHING to do with anything bad that has ever happened to you or yours, and yet you've spent more than two years publicly vilifying the bloke on a regular basis. What you're doing to him is nothing more than bullying, and until you can provide some kind of evidence that he's conducted himself in a manner that deserves public scrutiny, you should take your rumours and hearsay and jam them both where the sun don't shine.
Until then, if you want to continue your self-described "War" against whoever it is you have a beef with today, you'll have to learn to put up with getting shot at every time you peek a look over the top of the trench. You've got an opinion, and so does everyone else.
"I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it".

Just because Pete decides to defend himself and Galvo doesn't, does not make Pete a hypocrite.
Galvo and the rest have just as much of a right to defend themselves against any allegations, if they choose not to then that's their choice.
Why should you delete these troll accounts instead of Edgar? Because Pete plays within the guidelines set by you on this forum (just), with multiple fake usernames they are not...

Sorry Willo, but that's not really true. It's spectacularly easy to character assassinate someone on the internet. Defending yourself in a forum becomes nearly impossible if there's no dialogue between the parties and a sniping match ensues. It's a sad truth that the written word is not a good way to have a conversation, for most people. Galvo tried his heart out for probably 12 months to explain his position on all of this, and he got drowned out. Go back and read the threads, put yourself in his shoes and tell me you would bother to stick around and try to defend yourself. I'm sorry, but I really think that nearly anyone in his position would do what he has, and simply given up. I am one of the most patient people I know, in fact I might be the most patient person I know, and even I get sick of it, and it's not even me at which the vitriol is directed!

You're preaching to the choir there mate. You'll note Pete is still here and Bill/Vito/James are not? I know what the guidelines are, I made them. Pete steps pretty close to the edges occasionally, and I think you'll find that allow him a little more slack than I should, given that I should apply the rules to everyone equally.

That's quite simply not true. Galvo spent 12 months on here arguing his case and trying to explain his side of the story. You didn't want to listen to him, but that doesn't make your "facts" any more factual than his "facts". If you want credibility, learn to structure your arguments in the way that Ralph does, with actual evidence that people can read and research for themselves. Repeating what a nameless mate told you is not "reporting facts". It is, by its very definition, hearsay.
You say you're here to rid karting of the boys club that's holding us back... a noble cause, I would say. But the facts about Galvo, as I understand them, are:
a) He's been in karting 4 or 5 years. Which is about 30 less than the rest of the blokes in the "boys club".
b) He's been a club president, and the CIK coordinator.
c) He's now a club vice president, and a kart shop owner of sorts.
I ask you again, what does assassinating his character achieve for the rest of us? Even if he was the most evil bloke on the planet, I cannot see any possible means by which he could contribute to the demise of karting anywhere but at a single club at which he is involved. He writes no rules, he spends no money, he has nothing to do with the wider karting community whatsoever. You're wasting your time, and for what? To piss him off? To piss me off? Even if everyone believes what you say about him, and they don't, you come no closer to "saving karting" or "winning the war". That's what annoys me about you. You have a stated goal of fixing karting by introducing Best Management Practices to the AKA, and the time and determination to actually have a chance of having an effect, but you waste your time (and mine) by attacking a dude on the widest fringes of the whole thing that has absolutely no influence on anything.
I love how passionate you are. I love the way you write. I think you're hilarious. I also think, if you truly want to improve karting for everyone, you're seriously misguided in your efforts right now. You should ring Ralph and say "Sir, I await your orders". Ralph is a man that knows what needs to be done. Graeme Hancock is another. Perhaps try incorporating some of their style into your gameplan.
