KA4 Junior Light - Geelong Gear Ratio Reccomendation

As the title suggests we are noob's to the Geelong track and are looking for a starting point recommendation for a beginner driver. Currently got a 10T on the engine but also have an 11T if required what rear sprocket would you recommend as a starting point?

thanks in advance

Hi Liely,

If it's any help, we ran 10/73-74 last year in KA4 Junior Heavy.

Regards Michael

Hi Liely, we usually run 11:74 for Geelong.  See you on the weekend?

Just confirmed we also run 11:75 (which is 10:67) sometimes, so I would start at 11:75 or 76 then drop teeth based on Revs.

Thanks Brett, good advice. We were hoping to get out there but now have something else on this weekend.

Do you know if Geelong run any practice days that non-club members can attend?

See you at the next club day. Cheers.

If you contact Dominic Albanese, his contact details are here --> http://www.vka.asn.au/geelong/ I am pretty sure you could likely go down any weekend for some practice. It's a great track.
