Problem with Mychron 4
Hi Guys, We are having a problem with our Mychron 4, it won't turn on, we've changed batteries but cant think of anything else. Anyone else had the same problem? and would you know how to fix it?

Paul, check the wires to the connectors itself, if need be and your handy with a soldering iron, maybe chop the connector off and put a new one on :)
Other than that it could be an issue with the button itself... I'm not sure on that one how to fix it...

I have repaired a number of these units for friends and have found that the pushbuttons are prone to failure. Particularly the off button. The fault appears to be related to moisture ingress and resultant corrosion. the button is relatively low cost and the labour component of the job minimal. No guarantee that this is the issue but we have seen it occur a number of times.

Thanks Guys, I think the unit has power as my son tells me one of the lights was flashing while he was driving. I tend to agree with Don that one of the buttons has dropped out. Can this be tested in any way or would I be better of sendinding it out to be repaired? and Don, would you be interested? or would I be better of sending it to AIM.
