same here,

How did the track get on?? that type of rushing water is probably the most devastating thing.

Like all we will have to wait and see when the rain stops, how frustrating is that!!!

there were images of Murphys creek with rapids and thats close to the track so I would assume not good, but thats the least of concerns for those in the area atm.

Thanks for that William, of course the track condition ranks low on their attention scale at the moment, I was just hoping by some miracle it may have escaped major impact?? it appears not???

Lets hope they find all 72 announced as missing soon safe and well

I am sure that all Australians like myself who are watching this unfold on TV we feel so absolutely helpless.

But I am sure that every single one of us offer our thoughts and prays to all those effected, and what can be done by us will be done.

As much as this tragedy is touching all of us we must also remember the men and women who are putting their lives at risk to rescue and bring to safety these people who are stricken.

I hope the family is found soon .

very well said , another 100mm forecasted in the next 5 hours
very well said damian did you write anna bligh's speach? she pretty much quoted you word for word
im guessing the ttoowoomba kart track track wouldnt be in great condition after all of that??

I can't get down to check it.  It is a long way from the creek and I think the track itself should be OK.

We may not have a pump to pump the water from the creek.

If the weather breaks tonight and we get some fine weather will be able to check.

We had all grass mowed last weekend and the track was fine

Great to hear from you Steve. Heard you had water go through your house?  Hope you, Jenny and Scott are ok.
