Ben thanks for your comment but Daniel made an enquiry on what karts were on offer and I let him know about ours, I didn't buy my kart of Lightnings, to my knowledge they aren't a Kosmic dealer anyway?
To clarify for Daniel it is true that if you walk in and buy a Kosmic Mercury "in the box" as it comes from Remo its is about $5,450 give or take depending on who you buy it from, and how much they want to sell it on the day.
BUT then if like us you add a set of tyres, a slider engine mount, the water pump chassis bracket, and a few odds ends ends like throttle cable, fuel line and filter etc etc, and a tiny bit of labour to fit it all up including the seat the price very quickly hits $5,990 which is what we paid.
I would also add that personally I am way past only buying on price alone, I also buy on level of service and help. In this regard I can only highly recommend Dean (and his Dad) at Master Karting. Deano is the current Leopard Light national champion in a Kosmic mercury as well so he knows how to set one up.
No worries Daniel, as I mentioned wasn't sure what you were after. Ours would be a great option if you were thinking of going new. If you buy a used one make sure you check the chassis rails underneath at the very front and sides roughly level with the brake master cylinder. They are very very low and scrape these constantly, and can get pretty thin.
