So what is the kart doing that you don't like?

it was very fast and i won alote of racers in it in 04 and 05 and im sure i will again i just need a point in the wright direction with set up and its been 6 years since i raced last so i am sure a bit of practice wont be a bad idea but the set up is all out i did a wheel alignment it helped a little  but i know i can get more out of the kart

How good was the kart back on 04 compared to now? could just be that because of the tyre change you need to A, change the front end alignment to suit MG Reds and B, keep practicing?

thanks i will try those few things i have both bars out and 5 mile spacers on the front i cant get grip in the back and front  i will give Kym a call he helped set it up in 04 when i got the kart but the bridgestones are a completely different tyre and i am a bit out of practice for kart set

You can still get Omega Racing Suits, of course.

Bullet on MG Reds, Rotax. Setup is very subjective!

Whats your Current setup?

What is the Kart doing which makes it not work?

The best advice I can give is keep dialing Grip into it.

I race on Reds with an X30, and have both front and rear bars in, seat stays in, Front 15mm spacers, rear at 1380 and use Douglas Mags 2mm toe out, no camber.

If it starts hopping in the rear / too much grip, simply go wider in the rear or take the rear bar out.  if the rear still steps out or feels loose, take grip out of the front.

Hope that helps, 1 phonecall to Kym wouldn't go astray, he's always happy to help, he designed the Kart, what better bloke to help you set it up?!

I now use the same chassis in Sportsman 125 with a Leopard X30 on it :)
