Presents the TAG Super Series 2012

Round 1

MANNING VALLEY

 

Welcome to the 2012 TAG Super Series!

 

This year will see the inclusion of the hugely popular TAG 125 Restricted (TAG-R) category into the NSW Closed Titles. If you are in the Metro Zone in NSW, to qualify for the NSW Closed Titles in TAG-R must be done through the TAG Super Series, so this year is going to yield existing racing for the TAG-R fields.

 

NSW Sportsman 125 rules are to be used for unrestricted TAG open category – Sportsman 125. Since qualifying for the NSW Closed Titles is done through the NSW State Cup Rounds (Metro, Southern and Northern) and not the TAG Super Series we are expecting the casual, but fierce, competition these karters have shown over the years is repeated in 2012.

 

Thank you Manning Valley, we are racing under lights! A new location for the TAG Super Series in 2012 round 1 and we are all very excited to bring the Metro TAG circus to town. Manning Valley Kart Club is also joined by Orange Kart Club as two new locations joining Combined Districts Kart Club (Lithgow), Wollongong Kart Racing Club, Newcastle Kart Racing Club and North Shore Kart Club (Eastern Creek) for the 2012 TAG Super Series.

Well guys its official sub regs are approved by Karting NSW.

1st Round Manning Valley twilight meeting 25th Feb free practice on Friday and Saturday Morning , racing will start at appox 12.30 till 9.30pm under lights.

This will be a great race meeting Manning have gone out of there way to support the TAG S/S so let show them our support.check their web site for accommodation , camping is also available.

TAG Super Series 2012

We almost have it all finalized awaiting Karting NSW approval of sub regs, and confirmation of 2 dates.

The Confirmed dates are listed below.

October I4	Sun	Wollongong	Club Round

 

Combined District Kart Club, will be a one day event just waiting to confirm which date.

North Shore Kart Club will hold a round just waiting to confirm which date.

The 2012 Series will be held over 6 round, your best 4 round to count only.

So race all 6 or only race 4 your still in for Series Champion.  

The rules will be as per previous years and as per AKA rule book.

The point score will be change so every round has the same points.

Points for Heats, Pre Final and Final

Points for Qualifying and a bonus point for fastest lap in final.

Registration will be $10 for the Series this year.

You can still improve the same on MG Reds mate. Jason was at the front of Leopard at the states, he is at the from in the TAG Super Series and he is not winning all the time in either class, so this would suggest you can learn a thing or two off the current TAG NSW drivers running on Reds...
