Hi everyone,

I am looking for front split rims with 55.7mm bolt hole centres.

I currently have a pair of cast alloy front split rims with 56.1mm bolt centres.

I am looking for information regarding the origin of wheels with these PCD.

For those of you who have front split rims, can you measure them and confirm what they are off.

Cheers,

Raymond.

Raymond, I presume they are 3 stud 6 hole rims ? I just went to measure a ZIP rim but can't see any easy method with them assembled ?? I do remember there is a size difference between US and Continental hubs and stud patterns, meaning they wont interchange.

Tom

Hi Tom,

Thanks for the info, I hope some European split rims are the size I am looking for, otherwise I will have to make an adapter for the wheels I already have.

The front hubs I have coming are Dap but are from the US.

As you can guess I want to but split rims on the front of the 101 as they ran at the World Championships with them.

Raymond, something at the back of my brain says try looking at hubs etc on the Comet karts website, I think it has measurement information there on difference between US and European standards ?

Tom.

Will try Tom,

Thanks heaps.

Raymond

I have both US and European split rims.

The US have a much smaller pcd as stated on the Comet site.

The other rims I have may be from a British gearbox kart and seem to have a ver large pcd. I also have some front hubs with nothing to fit them.

This implies that there were at least a couple of different European sizes.

I will try to get some measurements tonight.

Hi Mike,

Did you have any luck with those split rim sizes?

Cheers.
