Don,that is correct, the top rail continued straight behind the seat and the bottom rails swooped upward,if the price was right would be worth getting hold of and putting a 9E Villers on it Regards Gary

Hard to tell from pics but rear of chassis behind seat may??? have been cut off and turned upside down to give more ground clearance.

It looks like a Lightburn that has been shortened, it had a wheelbase of 50 inches when original.the steering wheel is  not original , they had a hoop wheel. The wheels could be original,as i am reading their  spec sheet"6 inch pressed steel-split rim".The kart had a straight beam front axle, and the steering hoop is what they had looking at the pictures i have, good pick if you can get it,Regards Gary

Don,
Do you have an original shot of the Lightburn that you think that once was?

Paul. The ReSa with the Tillotson is probably one of my motors. I either run a pulse line into the manifold or modify the pump plate on the carb to take a pulse. Easy mod. I'll post some photos Tue or Wed. It doesn't have to be upside down but things fit better that way and it's easier to get to the tuning needles.

Looks like remains of a Lightburn kart on Gumtree ID1191663923.
