Max,go to motor bike wrecker, where you will get the pipe diameter and radius you require to make what you want.I did this on my K77 Komet and also the intricate system on  the yellow sub with the macs on.It is surprising how close you can get with cut and welding pipes to make it look very professional playing around with pipes and not expensive, regard Gary

Thanks Allan, I will try some Kart shops, they are getting fewer and fewer these days?

or buy the bigger flex which is available from kart shops

Max if I'm understanding you the engine uses a 50mm flex & the muffler uses a 48mm flex?

You can go to an exhaust shop & they can make you a reducer for the big flex to fit into which will fit you pipe....or buy a pipe with a bigger opening for what is termed "big flex". Bob Uhlhorn at AGS can supply the pipe.

I hope I have understood you correctly.....

I have almost got the Komet 71 together, HOWEVER, it has a muffler that has a 50mm entry sleeve, and a header that obviously goes with it.

Many Thanks, and at a brief read it would appear that the engine will fit into our current rules so all good to go.

Your effort really appreciated.
