After driving your kart at Tamworth - much to your amusement - I am in awe!!
I had enough trouble on the bitumen never mind on a speedway track.....
Soory I did not get the chance to get you into the Hutless. Maybe next time..

Hi All,
Had a run around Gosford Showground Speedway in preparation of the demonstration at the NSW State Speedway Kart Titles.
A bit dusty, but all went well.

Hi Mike and Robbie,

I ran the Deavinson at Tamworth with a Parilla SS20 on it. It is still a bit rough so I have lots to do. I just slapped some paint on it as I am not going to powder coat it until I have finished the wleding/cutting etc.
Steering was very heavy as it still has too much camber but it was OK.

How is the deavinson coming along??
There is an old A frame style kart on ebay, bidding was around $120 I think.

Yeah could not make Tamworth. Sounds like everyone had a good time. Have heard of a few Yamaha chassis around now. Know of one that the oriignal owner still has on the wall of his shed from when he raced juniors/ rookies many years ago. tried to get him to pull it off the wall but have not had any luck to date.
Still trying to get time to put the Yamaha together - parts to be painted/ chromed etc.....

We discussed this at the AGM at Tamworth and it seemed like a good idea.
Pity you missed it. There was an immaculate Yamaha AX100 there with a 100S on it. The guy - whose name escapes me - has had it since new and it is so original that even the engine and chassis numbers match.
