I have done extensive testing in the past and have found this to be true on multiple drivers.
Douglas LV or GT wheel is a good alternative and during summer KG gold works well and consistant.

Us SA Kz boys were present at AASA nats... Gary was Running a Modena with big carb programmable ignition etc on avgas. we ran LKE and IAME with std carb etc.

from personal experience the Mg yellow is a great tyre for out right speed and drivability. However I have tested the Dunlop DFM tyre on my KZ.
I found as a green tyre they were not as sharp as MGs and for me on the day 4 tenths…"

Rate it very highly, close to Formula Holden for concentration level required and a higher fitness level needed than in open wheelers, plus its so much fun. I'm just annoyed i have not had the chance to drive one earlier.
