"I would put a groove on the back of the piece u r holding across to about where the top left capscrew is and put the hole through that next face that is clear and outside of the reed valve."

David - Don't know anything much about the kart on ebay. It might not even be a Demon. It does look like a mid 80's kart and looks like everything is there.

My kart that you drove at Lismore is an ANS from South Australia. We think that it is about 1972. I have now fitted it with a more powerful McCulloch but have yet to have a drive in it.
