I have a PRO100 with a KT100s on it and a HKS which also has a KT100s on it. are these acceptable in the vintage & historic karts and who would I contact to join this club I live in South Australia

Hi John,

Entries are flowing in for the Robert Harrison Memorial Trophy for Twin Supers to be run in conjunction with the Australian Vintage Kart Prix. The perpetual trophy was originally run for 200cc Supers during the early 90's and is now being restored as a Vintage Twin trophy.

We already have 9 entries and I expect that we will see more than 20 entries in the class.

There is also interest in the class for the US too.

It would be great to have you run in the class and I am sure that we would see you in the Angelo Parrilla Trophy for DAP/DAP karts with the award presented and judged by Angelo Parrilla.

If there is anything I can do, just let me know.

Cheers.

Hi John ,

I hope you do make it to Ballarat, I wont have the Tecno with me in Ballarat, she will get a rest, I will definitely have the Demon twin and a single Benson, a possibly a new twin creation if i can get it finished in time.

Like Adelaide, its so bloody hot here at the moment, a little hard to get motivated with the karts.

Thanks John,

I have re- done the Tecno now, almost finished, changing it quite a bit set up wise as it was a bit of a handful to drive at Numurkah, the PCR engines on it are very strong and they will get a holliday for a while, I am going to try some Rotax's on it.

The Demon twin was really- really good on the Sunday, and I will run it also at Ballarat in February with a Single Benson / Rotax combo that I have.

I just love the twins, I am building another twin and a 130 at the moment, I have a twin chassis built by Colin Moat, just got it back from the powder coater, looks good,  It will be Parrilla rotary powered, and I have a DAP A frame kart that I am putting a PCR 135 on.

Look forward to see you guys again, will SA/ Mt Gambier do anything vintage wise?

Leigh

Hi John,

I didn't really get a chance to chat at Numurkah and take a look at your Demon/ Daps

it was so bloody hot, I really like the look of your demon, what is its history?

I saw in the photos that you also found the kitty litter, when I put the Tecno in backwards at the end of the straight on friday, the kitty litter was very unkind, I need to re powder coat the kart!

I hope the next event it is a little cooler

Leigh
