"Hey Nico, great thread idea mate! I disagree that you need more rear grip. I think you need smoother steering inputs. Karts HATE countersteer. When you countersteer, you're using the mechanical jacking effect of the kart to push the inside…"

Future Engine Selection Process

It’s an exciting time for karting. We’re a month away from the beginning of Governance, a moment that is literally years in the making. Finally, the sport will be directed by a board of professionals, under a structure deemed Best Management Practice by the Australian government, and used with great success by sports and hobbies of all kinds across Australia.

Finally, the Australian karter will be treated as a customer, with all the care and respect that we deserve. Finally,…

Hey Col,

Love Kartbook, but just as a suggestion, would it be possible to add a date filter to the forum search. If you do a keyword search in the marketplace, results are not in date order.

Not a criticism, just a suggestion, as I say, I love kartbook, its one of my favourite sites.

Hello Col,

I'm afraid it is the same person...

Pleased that you say some things I wrote were useful for you, and hope I didn't lead you down to many long and winding dead ends.

I doubt I'll be getting into too many long (winded?) ediscussions, these days I'm too busy / tired most of the time.

tell me what type of guitar first. easier to do on nylon string dreadnought accoustic. Don't worry about neck twist, is due to bad storage, handling etc.

you will get it to hold tune but better off doing bass strings on top and guitar on bottom. too hard to slap and pop a bass down there.
