Terry, How about you enlighten everyone....I was there too you know.   I know for a fact that you raised concerns about the air flutes in Jason Burns air box BEFORE the class rolled out....and you said nothing to Jason Burns until he returned…

This thread is quickly turning to shit Col. There are a few people who can't seem to control what they type and don't realise who is reading. We have all been warned. I have just gone through this on a website I moderate just today with…

That's a valid point you raise their John. If we had a tech guy do that at one of our meets, we wouldn't bother inviting him back again. Yes, it's all well and good to enforce the rules as they are written, but a little…

Fact is it is an engine cover......NOTHING MORE.   If the officials believe it contravenes a rule, they should have told the guy that he needs to change the cover, or they will need to act....That would have been the end of it.  (had…

I don't have the time right now, but I was a witness in the case you're discussing, and have spoken at length to both the suspended party and the state prosecutor. It is my (rather well informed) opinion that you guys are not particularly…

They have even got rid of one their own because he did not stick with them..... http://www.kartbook.net/forum/topics/dismissal-of-officials-for-telling-the-truth they want and almost have every karter to be in fear of them Plain and simple they are…

Been told this driver got a month's holiday, seemed he was offered a month if he plead guilty, seems he took it??? I wonder what if he chose to fight it, but knowing the guy he is a bit cash strapped so took the month off and its only 1 meeting…

Paul I agree with you the precedence had already been set the rule should be clearer . It was poorly handled in my opinion and unless it's sorted will continue.  I think half the issue is like most rule books they aren't written by…

Michael,   if its in the rule book its not CLEAR, when it could be easily written if they want this to NOT occur simply write it clearly NO painting of ANY part of an engine thats not standard etc. then its clear. Why didn't the chromed…

John I have to disagree with you. I agree it's a bullshit rule, but if it's in the rule book it should be enforced or it sets a precedence. Imagine the problems if someone makes a protest and based on them letting it go last time or at…

Great point Alex. I've been speaking with Craig Denton a bit over the last couple of months, and one of the things he's trying to improve at a National level is transparency - he's trying to make the communications to the karting…

newbie question. If a parent of another competitor puts in a complaint , therefore forcing the official into a hard place, is there a requirement for a record of the complaint to be kept. If so is this information able to be accessed by the other…

So this is where the good dudes hang out........hey col , luke and Darren.
Guys do reckon we could get some sort of tech section going for say chassis tuning or even engine development for us tech nerds?
Maybe make it a sealed section or something so no politics or stuff comes into it, Just facts and tech specs? Thought it may work. Maybe with interviews or question time with some of the industry guys and engine builders.(thats if anyone would volunteer. Even a how to scruitineer or test engines for compliance( maybe a guest VKA tech) to help the topics along and answer questions. Sort of like a question and answer section?
Anyway I thought it might be useful.
