How long can you last??

"Easy to rotate the axle using a padded drill in the axle. Goes around REAL fast!"

"Wd40 on the axle and fine fine wet and dry or a scotch brite pad and rotate axle til clean. Tank your exhaust in cautic soda."

Hi Mathew, glad to see you are doing a bit of research before leaping in!
If you happen to consider a second hand kart be Very carefull.
Find a person who is knowledgable about karting NOW to check it out with you.
It will take a while to get a handle on what is good, bad, out modelled, slow, blah blah.
If you buy 2nd hand through a shop there is a much better chance the kart will be 'race ready' without a lot of effort, read disappointment.
In the learning phase, expect to leave the black stuff often as you start to push it some.
Skid plates or, my favourite, split 30mm clear hose on the 'contact' areas of the chassis will save a lot of damage....
To get to mid field will take a lot of practice so don't be disappointed if you aren't World champion on your first laps...
But it is a real buzz!!
