Hi Nathan,

 

I use a Sony PMW-EX1 video camera... it's expensive! Honestly, you don't need anything that fancy to do it though. All my Kartbook TV videos from 2009 (Townsville nationals etc) were done on a little JVC handycam.

 

You want one with the best autofocus you can find, basically! Karts obviously move quickly so the better the autofocus, the better the shots you'll get.

Hey mate,

I use final cut pro on a mac to do the video editing. There's also Adobe Premiere on PC which is very similar.

another meet where? i probs won't race til next season in seniors anyway... my tyres are completely screwed lol. i think more juniors will travel to gladstone next year cause of the surface.

Oh and did you hear we get the closed states next year. :D
