The way I see it and why I got involved is:
1. CM:S was initally a licensing system.
2. Manage the administration of club activities.
2. It was expanded!
3. Race day Management.
4. Timing.

Absolutely, my son has had to look after his own race preparation, setup, etc, while I train. The upside, my son does his own setup and race preparations. That makes him responsible for his own actions, what better learning environment.
