"eventually, qualifying gets a bit boring...   did a lot of qualifying meets in the last year or two and started to yearn for mixed grids where we would actually get to pass some people for a change and work for a result. "

"Here's a surprise, no one raised this issue at our committee meeting last Wednesday, and as far as I know nor did anyone raise it at the race on Sunday. Seems they are happy with random grids after all. They certaily seemed happy with their 5…"

"Nathan, since the members are the club they should get their chance to decide, all they need to do is attend their committee meetings, debate it and vote. Good luck to them. "

"Nathan What you have said is what most people say. Costs are reduced and DNF’s are less frequent. Safety is the big one, karts not pushing to past is best practice for all. That equals cheaper karting for all…. I hope other club’s…"

"If we did qualifying at every club meet last year I probably would have saved about $500 in axles, plus a seat, exhaust bracket, battery, a tie rod or two, and a number of DNFs haha."

"Edgar everything you say is true. Its fair for everyone, and yes quali is for big meets   but we're trying to save the cost for the average karter by ordering the grid in a structural way so that theres less accidents. Believe it or not,…"

"You beat me to the punch Pete, was just about to type that exact thing. Without running random grid races your not used to going under multiple karts in the one corner while setting up your exit to grab another at the following one. "
