"Yeah, but be cautious. A few years ago I was was innocently 'dumpster diving' the day after after a round ot the State Titles, and was accosted by some big bloke I didn't know wanting to know "hey, what the fuck do you think…"

"There were videos on this site showing setup, the reasons why, how and what to look for that would be very useful to someone trying to learn how to setup a kart chassis. Someone might be able to point you to a link for this as I couldn't find…"

"The best method for checking your kart set up & your carbie tuning is to get a top driver in your kids class to take the kart for a spin & see what sort of lap times he can do & get positive feedback on set up. Terry is correct about…"

"Julian, if your son is 2 seconds off the pace with tyres that old, he should be able to gain a second a lap on new tyres. That would put him in a position to have some racing in the back half of the field, and more importantly, learn how to…"

"Yes, good point Richard - I'm tempering it but he's busting his buns and understands where he sits. I also feel that if he can run at the back close to the mid pack it will be a rising tide lifts all boats sort of thing - but happy to be…"

"Julian these are some very astute observations from a newbie. Many of which have been echoed by Karters repeatedly since the reforms began a few years ago. Juniors used to have harder rubber, we used to have random grid allocations not qualifying…"
