"Robert, I simply want the vintage rules as they are applied equally to everyone. I have no objection to a class of kart that was run in the USA, Europe, Australia or anywhere else from being run here. Both you and Noel told me to my face at the…"
"Robert, we do not race. I was prevented from log booking a twin 135 C open because the class was never raced in Australia, however twin 135's were raced in Australia, at the Coff's over 40's. This does not mean that it should be log…"
"So Peck and Poat "raced the Konig (Koenig). Two engines in Australia that had 200cc barrels, liners et al, made apparently by Smithurst and Son a Taren Point.
Therefore any reprlica would have the same Smithurst and Son a Taren…"
"Come on fellas, we do not need anyone else to be injured. Apart from matching the kart to the log book, this is really the only safety device to be looked at.
I do not think "bead restrainers" are required, maybe "brain…"
"Hi Noel, we do not have a program at the moment as we do not know who will be there. I have been told that we will have 15mins every hour and that the track will be open from 8:00am to 6:00 pm, so that is 10 sessions per day. Once we know who will…"
"Hi All, I am trying to confirm who will be actually taking a vintage kart to the RKA meeting at Eastern Creek. The organisers need to know numbers and if we do not get 12 entrants it is likely that they will not run vintage."
I made a photo mandatory so people can see what you are looking for, this may not actually suit some wanted ads, you can always send what you have to my email contact as listed above the submission form and I am happy to create something that get's the message across.
Well Steve, are you interested in taking my Kart to Numurkah and flogging Chippo and Manley? I've still got about 12 litres of fuel left over from Lithgow. Just watch the fuel mixture screws but once set they should be right for the day. Oh, the battery will probably need charging between heats. Only needs a six volt charger so its no drama. I've just started a new job so its very unlikely that I could get time off to go to Tamworth or Numurkah. The old girl is there if you want to have a go.
Gday steve---regarding the jps twin-----found out who was the original owner and i am going to see him friday and get more info then---the current owner has a lot of gear-mostly late model stuff---ring me this evening on 0419 531 366---regards jack
Hard to beat the thrill of a good twin, working on my third one now , and building a trick 130, I also know that Pete Rowebotham and Douglas Downes are both working on second twins and Bob Ulhorne is also putting one together for his son Chris, So yeah , its fantastic.
