Steve Clark replied to Graeme Hancock's discussion Why has Australian Karting Hit the Skids ? KartOz Magazine
"What a great idea! There'd be no whining about engine parity or not being able to get down to weight. It would all be down to driver ability. Racing would be a lot closer within a time bracket and I think would create a bit more interest for…"

Steve Clark replied to Brendan Stacey's discussion Mychron compatiblility from USA

Steve Clark replied to Brendan Stacey's discussion Mychron compatiblility from USA
"Did the same myself. Works no problems. Only thing I found was that speed on the dash unit reads in Mph not Kph. However when you download and look in RaceStudio you can set it to Kph."

Steve Clark replied to Daniel Paronetto's discussion MyChron4 GPS system
"Orientation of GPS unit is not that important. Preferably should be flat and above nassau panel is probably the best spot. As long as it indicates a good signal. Cable can be in any direction. As for your other problems, the track layout probably…"

Steve Clark replied to Chris White's discussion Mychron purchasing advice
"Get the GPS05 unit for sure. Does everything the expansion boxes do and more. If you use it you don't need the magnetic sensor as the GPS and software will do laptimes from anypoint on any track with up to 8 splits.Once you've used it…"

Steve Clark replied to Matthew Adam's discussion gps
"Silly question time. Did you have the Mychron turned on? Works from the spare port but Mychron has to be on."

Steve Clark replied to Matthew Adam's discussion gps
"I think you'll find it doesn't work that way. Need to have your computer connected to the data key which is connected to your Mychron. Map is not on the data key but in the computer. The data key only allows you to connect your computer to…"
