So Saturday is all done and dusted, and to quote Col Fink, Man it was hot! Clubman light qualifying compared to clubman light heat 1 the difference was 5 or 6 tenths. The rubber is down, and it is like driving on a track made of chewing gum (once again, quoting Col).
Qualifying didn't exactly go my way today, a few tenths off in Q1, a few more in Q2. Heat 1 was going well until two turns from the chequered flag I chose the wrong way aronud two stranded karts in the middle of the…

Vic closed 2010
So today was the first practice for the 2010 Vic closed. Over the last 2 weeks I have ran the McPhee memorial and club day, both at Cobden (the venue for the closed), finishing third at the McPhee, and winning 2 heats at club day before trying out the 'gun' motor in the final, ahead of the closed, and siezing it. So, all in all we had had a good preparation for the closed before the final last Sunday. Never mind, moving on, as I said today was the first practice, however, due to work…
