"check the electrical connections on the side near the carbie often these can come loose or crack (mine did) and then reconnect as soon as you stop turnning. So check all the electrical conections. Hope this works"

"good for a laugh but not reality. The leopard doesn't need anywhere near the maintenance they quoted haven't ever run a rotax though most guys I have spoken to who went from rotax to X30 leopard have been happier with the X30."

"even though gases expand through the restrictor this happens even without a restrictor, all exhausts open up in this area any way so even though the gas flow changes around the restrictor compared to no restrictor i was chasing the egt…"

"Yes, the resrictor causes the gases to expand through the small hole, and as it does so, it drops temp. (Boyles law I think.) Thus egt becomes useless. Our rookie engine would max at 570C."
